For the past 28 years, we have prided ourselves in hosting this early season tournament, with the primary focus on sportsmanship both on and off the ice. This year the tournament will utilize ice rinks both in Vail and Eagle, so teams and their families can enjoy our beautiful mountain communities and all they have to offer. We will also be utilizing the services of POINTSTREAK.COM to provide all scoring and tournament information on the internet, both live and postgame.
Applications from interested teams will be accepted until October 15, 2008 - teams will generally be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The tournament fee must accompany the application for it to be considered. Teams not selected will have their entry fee returned to them via mail within seven (7) days after the deadline. Our coaches may select the teams based on reciprocal arrangements with teams that host tournaments of their own or teams they are interested in competing against. Because we realize the number of tournaments is limited, we encourage all teams to apply, whether they host a tournament or not. We are looking to host a wide variety of teams, states and levels of play for this tournament, so all interested teams should apply.
